ジェネロテクノロジー株式会社（本社：東京都台東区）は、ソネット株式会社（本社：東京都墨田区）と販売代理店契約を締結し、エリクソン社の無線LANシステム「Ericsson wiFi」シリーズの取扱を開始しました。

携帯端末の急速な普及に伴い、ネットワーク上でやりとりされるデータ量が爆発的に増加している今、建物内や施設内、街全体におけるネットの「つながりにくさ」を効果的に改善する製品です。

通信世界大手のエリクソン社では、「2020年に500億の携帯端末がモバイルネットワークに接続される」と予測しています。また、一般の方が携帯端末でストリーミングビデオを見たり、写真をダウンロード／アップロードしたり、クラウドサービスを利用したりするなど、個人のネットワーク利用量も爆発的に増加しています。大量のデータ通信に耐えうるモバイルネットワークの実現は、社会全体の課題と言っても過言ではありません。

そこで、ジェネロテクノロジーでは、いつでもどこでも快適に利用できるモバイルネットワークの実現に貢献するため、エリクソン社の無線LANシステム「Ericsson WiFi」の取扱を開始しました。ネットワークトラフィックの爆発的な増大という問題を解決する上で、非常に効果的な通信技術である「ヘテロジニアスネットワーク（以下HetNet）」を採用した、通信業界で注目度の大変高い製品です。

Introducing currently hot HetNet. Starting the handling of Ericsson’s “BelAir” series
〜Creating a better connection for mobile network society〜

At Genero Technology, we started the handling of Ericsson’s mesh-type wireless installation, “BelAir”. As the use of portable device became common, size of the data being sent and received on networks are increasing tremendously. This product improves the connection level dramatically inside of the buildings, facilities and even in the city.

Ericsson, being the major enterprise of communication, predicts that “by the year 2020, 50 billion portable devices will be connected to the mobile network”.
